I got off light. I live in a two story wooden house surrounded by brick houses. Because I did not believe the storm was going to hit head on here, I stayed to watch over my cats. I soon learned what terror means, the storm hit us dead on. I put on my favorite clothing so I would look my best when I got dug out of the mud a few months later!

But where would I go? The storm is over. I moved here from Austin but my family needs me. Rockport is pretty dull and the bar and music scene "sucks"! But it could be worse.

I can imagine getting dull after a while. Buddy and I went to one while down there and it was a nice change of pace not a lot of people there and the ones that were were pretty easy to get along with. Yeah that being a regular thing I could understand
