At the top right of the screen, you should see a "settings" option. Once you click on that, under the "My Profile" subcategory, select "Profile Information". Things like your name, your location, commission status, etc. will be there for you to modify as you see fit. In order to edit the profile description for your front page, however, the big box labeled "Profile Text" is where you can put your info with links and such respectively. You can even use special formatting like bold and italics. Once you're finished, simply press "Save", and there you go.
