D&D character for a friend's approximately-1940s extraplanar hotel escape game. He's a little grouchy about being spirited away mid-surgery, but at least his room is comped.

    Hmm... this is really nice! I really like the shading! Though here is my critique:

    the head seems really cartoonish while every thing else looks realistic or there isn't as much shading in the head. It just looks a bit uneven.

    I really love the effort though! The shading is much better than what I can do.

      Thank you! I see what you mean about the mismatch between the head and the rest. I wonder if that could be solved by deepening the shadows of the head to better define the form and match the values of the nearby arm.

      I wouldn't sell yourself short, though! Rendering styles of any sort take a lot of time and effort to develop, and it looks like you've put a lot of that into creating a style that's bright and fun!
