I wanted to see how my alien characters would look with lineart, since I usually draw them in my lineless style. I think lineless suits them a little better, but I figured it didn’t hurt to try it out.

Also, I have some great news: They finally have names!

The blue alien is Ino and the small winged one is Exo.

Ino (pronounced “In-Oh”) derives from the word “Introvert“
Exo (pronounced “Ex-Oh”) derives from the word “Extrovert”, and also “Exocoetidae“, which is the scientific name for Flying Fish (since Exo’s design resembles one.)
