The stories told about the girl with the hammer - like how she could lift and carry an adult bull on her shoulders, or how she could topple a solid stone wall with only her bare hands - were mostly true.
I'm a little confused as to what path of motion the hammer just took (A full circle, like an uppercut? An overhand smash and then it bounced off?) but man I am digging everything about this, especially hammer girl's physique.
Love the colorful little cartoony details around the point of impact, especially that heart and the stars flying out. Wouldn't mind seeing or hearing more of this girl's exploits!
Weelll, I kinda played with the idea of some silly-strong, happy-go-lucky barbarian girl's exploits, and that's really the breadth of it. She's all about outrageous feats of strength and going against all odds.
I would like to draw more of her or perhaps commission a story, but all in due time.
Poor guy who decided to try and disprove those stories. He looks completely stunned! XP
Definitely can feel the 'toon aspect of this picture, such as the "time compression" of the hammer strike and the lovely size exaggeration. The "huge shoulders on tiny legs" look always amuses me. x3
Love the designs here. She looks really really badass and very strong, and the bad guy looks very much like a crook in for example Wind Waker - It's a really fun design!
