Rogue Psychic

Dsarvess

She stumbled for a moment, breathing a bit heavier. She cursed under her breath as she fell to her knees, shuddering softly. Her heart hammered in her chest, each pump sending a burning pang through her veins. Poison. Stupid. Needle buried inside a lock, and a moment of carelessness. That's all it'll take. Her breath caught for a moment in her throat as she leaned up against the wall.

Her head buzzed, one hand reaching up to it. It was getting a little hard to focus hard to... Hard to keep her mind down in reality, down in- The buzzing pressed outward, bringing a sharp gasp through her throat. A surge of strength and power rushed through her head, a brief moment where she could feel, hear, force her will onto everything around her... And with the pain, it was gone.

Her heart was hammering. Feet and spine, throbbed. Just that brief moment of power was intoxicating enough, but if she could have a taste of something like that... Maybe she could again? Her head was still spinning, barely able to organize thoughts, but she still glanced down at the needle a few feet away, still coated with the toxin. It had barely pierced her skin. If she had a bit of a stronger dose, maybe... Her thumb traced over the surface of the needle, wiped over her lips. Heart hammered. It didn't hurt this time, just an overpowering dizziness. Her eyes lost focus, and again, a few seconds she could see, she could feel; just with her mind. Hand raised, sore fingertips a little swollen, and with a slight thought, a puff of wind blew through her hair.

She collapsed backward, giggling wildly. The power leaving her dizzy and barely able to focus. Uncaring of the slight mutations manifesting across her body; pale skin, small nubs of horns. "O-oh my... O-oh... again... M-meewo... m-more." She couldn't even manage surprise when someone responded.

"Want more, do you girl?" She didn't really care that there was someone talking to her, even though she didn't belong. A thief in the palace, but if she could just have that sort of strength again; it would be worth getting caught. "Y-yeewtw...twooo..." It was so hard to talk, but again, she didn't care. She felt so strong... Power, boiling at the edge of her mind, just out of her reach. She wanted it... So badly.

"Goodness, you're almost a beast already. And you could take much more, I'd imagine!" His voice sounded pleased, proud, almost. "Let's make a deal, hmm?" She looked up, dizzy. Eyes, vacant violet pools. "I give you more. Oh, so much more. You like the taste of power, and I'll give you more than you can imagine. And in exchange... That power will be mine. You will call me master."

She nodded slowly as he reached up, over, looping a band around her throat. Fingers hooking under her chin, already slightly lengthened, and tilting it up a little, slipping a bit more of the serum down her throat. "Y-yes... Yes m-mas.. m-mew... m-myuuttuooooo!"
