Pink Floyd The Final Cut
Two Suns in the Sunset
...We were all equal in the end...
The Final Cut is an anti war album, and at some points, a prequel/sequel to The Wall, originally ment to be called Spare Bricks. The album expanse more into the history of the war that killed Pink's father and more into the Schoolmaster's psyche, him being one of the few soldiers to "land on their feet" (survive) and becoming a teacher to have a sense of control.
Several songs such as Your Possible Pasts, One of the Few, The Hero's Return and The Final Cut were originally written for The Wall but were later scraped. This is also the last album to have singer, bass player and lyric writer Roger Waters before leaving the band for a solo career.
