So a disclaimer, to appreciate these lyrics you must understand them.
This song was written by Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits in response to a man standing in the back of a appliance store making comments about theMTV they had playing on a tv. These lyrics are meant as a dig at him and conservative culture in general, not at homosexuals (I am gay btw).

So that being said, this song is still banned in Canada and I would imagine some other places because of the lyics in the second verse.
This the first recording I have done in a long long while. It was a lot of fun and was done to test out my new audio interface, a line 6 ux8, 8 channel usb 2 interface. I actually like this thing quite a lot. Line 6 might make some crappy guitars but if this is a good example of their gear, they might be better than I have always thought them to be. Analog vu meters, pres in the xlr inputs, built in power supply, I actually like this thing better than my fast track ulta 8r.

This recording also gave me a chance to bust out Old Hannah (my banjo) that just got a lot of work done to her in my my shop! She sounds better than she ever has!
I have galleries of her face lift here:

As always, all the instruments and vocals are real, all are played by myself.
Enjoy!
