I don't know how things are now, but back when I was at DeviantArt, when you had a premium account, you're able to view recent visitors to your page. At one point I got a free trial with all the premium features, and [BleachMan] was the first person to appear on the list, so I offered to do this picture for him. Actually, his request was for me to enter a contest he was holding. The character on the right is his character, Xharyk Aeria, a Mrar (basically a peace-loving, intelligent human with stripes). I don't feel bothered to look up the details of that contest, but I assume it involved drawing this character. No, I didn't win.

The inspiration for my picture was [this picture] and [this other picture]. When I was thinking about what do to with his character, I figured that he has to get on those building ledges somehow, so he must use the elevator. Hence the awkward situation here.
