I've rolled this idea around for quite some time now and finally decided to go ahead and suggest it here- So, artists have things like TMI Tuesday as a character development/get to know the artist exercise and my idea is a a sort of fashion design exercise. I'll call it 'Mandersday and it'll be for Thursdays if anyone's interested. The premise is having any character and any outfit marked with patterned spots to play up their features, not spots everywhere mind you, a good example might be a striped pattern of spots circling diagonally around their torso or say a diamond shaped block of spots along their upper back. Of course these are just generic examples and I wholeheartedly encourage any artists who try this to come up with patterns that suit whatever character they draw as best they can imagine them.
