I FIGURED OUT HOW TO PEOPLE.

My Shape Shifter character Dodge for a group contest over on dA.

Name: Dodge

**Age: **Unknown

**Shifter Type: **Animal

**Occupation: **Pack Alpha

**Location: **Hartford, Connecticut

**Background: **Dodge is a wolfdog, the offspring of a female Dalmatian and a male wolf. It is unknown if either one of his parents were Shape Shifters or carried the recessive gene for it, which manifested itself in Dodge. He has his natural form, the wolfdog, as well as a pure Dalmatian form, but no pure wolf form.

He lived on his own for a time, but decided pack life might suit him better. He joined a small pack on the other side of the Massachusetts border, where he met his future mate, Halia, the headstrong daughter of the pack alpha. However, Halia and her pack were prejudice against half-wolves (wolfdog hybrids), and her father encouraged it. He developed a crush on Halia, and made sure to keep it a secret from her father.

Dodge later made plans to return to Connecticut and settle down in Hartford when he felt that his secret crush on Halia would come to see the light of day. He was halfway over the Connecticut border when Hali followed him over. Having been raised under the thought that half-wolves were impure and inferior to pure wolves, it was difficult for her truly appreciate who Dodge was, but she felt that she could learn to like him for who he was rather than what kind of blood was in his veins. Dodge found it hard to believe that Halia would ever leave her pack for any reason unless her father sent her away on a scouting mission. Still, Halia wanted to see what was beyond the borders of her territory. She wanted to see what life was like as a lone wolf out from under the shadow of her overprotective father. So she and Dodge made their way down to Hartford, where they slowly established themselves as the Hartford Pack.

Dodge and Halia have not have any children; Halia is still struggling to shake the belifs she was raised with, and Dodge is willing to let her take as much time as she needs.

So it looks like Halia is a more fleshed out character than Dodge is. I'll admit, his back story isn't very good, but I'll have to come back and fix it a little more as time goes on. In the mean time, please feel free to make sugeestions. :)

[i[Hey, what can I say?
I hope they'd talk about us that way
There ain't no place I'd rather be
Than right here making history.
Hey, what can we do?
Here we are, it's me and you
So let's take all the pictures we can take
For the generation away[/i]
