For this one, Alkali is a kobold among a small tribe of kobolds that work for a small time dragon trapped in a rut of territorial expansion and growth. So Alkali takes it upon himself to find a way to elevate his dragon to the higher status and power that he believes they deserve. He MAY have gone a bit overboard... but he doesn't seem to be complaining one bit.
