ACEO for Strecno by Dragarta

ACEO for Strecno

Dragarta

This is a double ACEO, gift for Strecno . He was so kind and sent me two beatiful cards with my character some time ago. In return he wanted some dragon and the rest was up to me. I did this piece inspired by famous painting from Caspar David Friedrich. It was a nice experiment, I think I will do more "inspired by" pictures in the future. I hope you will like it, I am happy I have the mood for creating again :]
Brown inks and aquarelle.

VERY awesome, especially for being painted on an ACEO card. The level of fine detail is just gorgeous! Heheh... the ruined cathedral amidst craggy trees vaguely reminds me of a similar work by Caspar David Friedrich. ^_^

Thank you very much! Exactly, I mentioned in my comment that I was inspired by him :)

Really? Huh... the description comes up empty. I think I may have to report a bug.

You... Are amazing. Can I just stare at your work for hours and hours and try to figure out how you color and shade?

I love the background here - the bare trees and the broken walls really build the atmosphere! Very cool. =)
