(August 2012) The inspiration for drawing this one is owed in equal parts to the UEFA Euro 2012 European Football Tournament and the London 2012 Olympic Games. Which should give you some idea of how slow I can be at getting around to drawing something even when I am directly inspired to do so.

Since moving to the UK I've been exploring new and interesting things, and one of these has been watching football (soccer to my former countrymen). I'm never going to be the most excitable dragon when it comes to sports, but it's fun to watch all the same, especially when you're cheering for a team representing something you care about like your entire country. It isn't a perfect sport; in particular I'm already getting tired of some aspects of it like the way players fall over and whine like little babies at the slightest touch to try and get fouls called on the other team, and watching England persistently fail out on penalty kicks in round two, but even so there's plenty to enjoy about it.

So here, have a dragon guy about to boot one into the opposing goal. As well as a new paw-wear design for the sporting dragon! The kit isn't meant to be represent any specific real-world team, just the sporting colours I'd probably choose if designing my own, though they do bear some resemblence to the secondary colours used by England during Euro 2012.
