Monsette thinks little of turning people into tadpoles it would seem.

His species start out as tadpoles. They live pretty much the same way as regular frogs, until they're able to crawl out of the pond creche. They spend most of their time playing in the mud, hopping about and catching insects with their tongues, under the watchful eyes of elders. Soon after they learn how to walk upright on two legs, the adults take them into their homes and they learn how to become more civil. They quickly grow slim and tall, and hop less over time, to get around. They spend most of their life as Monsette looks. But as they get older they tend to become rotund and more squat, often taking to sitting for long periods, and leaping to wherever they needed, providing it was only one leaps distance and grumble if it was more. Some of them would say 'If it's too far for a leap, it's not worth the effort.'

Whoever that drunk was, will most likely now grow up as an Anphib, with only the vaguest of memories to his former life. They'll be more like deja vu's and feelings of familiarity with things.
