The force chapter three

By Shaun McGrath
(Doggywolf67)

The northern compound.

 /o:p

style='mso-spacerun:yes'>     The major was beyond upset he nearly ran
for the surface to inform the Colonel.

His fists were clenched and any of the fools who even dared
to step close to him ended up on their backside on the ground. He was ready to
steal a BlackHawk and go after the idiot they called
the Prophet. The Major found the one who had effectively been the second in
command of these fools.

    Major McKinney was
not known for violence so many of the troops froze when he walked right up to
the taller human, grabbed him by the collar and pushed him to the ground. The
major then pulled his side arms and fired one round between the human’s legs.

“Where is the Northern compound?” style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  He yelled at the man.

“Like I would ever tell you!” style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  The man started to laugh thinking that since
he was a prisoner they could do nothing to him.

Colonel Samual walked up behind the Major and asked what was
the issue.

“Sir, the Prophet has taken the girls to some place called
the Northern compound!” The col. Could see how upset the major was. The senior
officer stepped between the prisoner and the major. He drew his side arm and turned
to the man on the ground.

“Answer his question!”
The Col. Squinted his eyes.

“Not much chance of” The Col. Fired a single shot and made a
very large hole in the man’s leg.  The
prisoner screamed and started yelling about his rights. A very large Bear like
officer seemed to appear from nowhere. He knelt down and spoke slow and soft to
the man on the ground.

“You are a terrorist! Under the law you no longer have any
rights! If the Col. Decides that your death will save others by gaining the
information we need, then…”  The officer
stood up and turned to Col.

“Sir, do you have enough bullets?” The major pulled out
another clip from his belt and smiled at the col.

“Answer him, now!” The col. Pointed his side arm directly at
the man’s genitals.

The man on the ground realized that this was very real and
he was about to lose his battle.

“Grand cross, three miles West and about half a mile north.”
The man was feeling faint from the loss of blood.

“See, that wasn’t so bad!”
The Col. Point at the two Majors.

“Take the rangers and the Blackhawks! I want the Prophet
alive if possible. He has a lot to answer for!”

The Colonel turned and started looking at the troops who
were standing there trying not to look stunned.

“Master sergeant, we should probably think about stopping
the bleeding.

But there is no hurry for other medical care! If his
information is incorrect, well, I would hate to think of the expenses we would
have wasted on a corpse!” The Senior officer smiled and walked away.

The Sergeant knew that the Colonel was not a harsh man, but
if he had let the Major continue, then the man would be dead. style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  The sergeant watched as the Blackhawks took
to the air followed by the transports with the rangers. He knew there would be
serious doings when they arrived at the other end. The Kodiaks had mounted the
M60’s on both sides of the transports. There had been a rumor that the Colonel
was being ruthless in order to create a reputation of never standing down. He
knew that many of them would think twice before they tried anything. So far it
was working. The reputation that this group had so far was that if they were
after you, you were dead meat. Nobody they had taken had ever been seen again.

style='mso-spacerun:yes'>     Captain Doerun watched the Colonel as he
walked over to the remains of the slavers make shift tank.

He had placed his left hand on the machine and put his right
hand over his heart as he closed his eyes.
The Captain had been assigned by General Klondike to discreetly keep an
eye on the Human Colonel.

     There was no
stealth approach as the sun had come up. The Blackhawks moved into position and
the Transports landed in the middle of the compound. The men in the compound
were in a panic as the Rangers deployed. It took an entire 12 minutes to
capture the compound. The Major knew that the Prophet would not arrive at the
compound for another half another half an hour. He set his troops along the
road and had others pretend to members of the order. They waited.

   A convoy of five
vehicles came up the road to the compound and stopped some 200 yards out. style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  The major could tell that something was not
right. He ordered the Blackhawks to surround the vehicles and let no one
escape. The rangers then moved into position. The group from the first vehicle
jumped out and tried to open fire. They were all downed in a single volley from
the rangers.  The large black limo in the
middle tried to turn and make a run for it. The rangers opened up and the large
luxury vehicle had no tires left. The Prophet knew that the compound had already
been taken. He told his henchmen to surrender. He reached into the pouch on his
side and took out a bottle of pills. The female hybrid next to him grabbed the
bottle from him and managed to get the door open enough to throw the bottle
out.  The Human then tried to pull out
his side arm. The two fought and the weapon discharged. The Rangers saw the
splatter of blood hit the window on the inside and stormed the car. They
immediately dragged the human out and put him face down on the ground in a
rather violent manner. The female was lucky and the bullet had gone all the way
through her arm. She needed medical help but was in no danger if the bleeding
would be controlled. The Major ran over to the car and took her in his arms. He
carried her to the transport where the medics were.

“You are going to be fine!” He smiled at her and she saw the
tears trying to form in his eyes.

“I knew you would come for me!” style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  She let her head fall against him as she
passed out.

The larger Hybrid Major Ruff, was on the Radio back to the
main force and the Colonel.

“Yes sir, we took them by surprise. Two rangers were wounded
and nine of the slavers will require body bags!” style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  He listened to the response.

“Yes, she was amongst them. Unfortunately
she was wounded when the Prophet tried to commit suicide. style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  Thanks to her we have the fool, alive! class=SpellE>McKenny is with her now.” The troops saw him relax slightly
as the smile crept over his face.

“I will see to it personally sir! We should arrive back at
base in about 90 minutes.”

The large hybrid set down the headset and started walking
over to the Ranger sergeant.

“Throw that garbage into irons, hog tied! OH, and Sergeant I
would not care if you dangled him outside the transport for the journey
home!”  He smiled even wider.

“SIR?”  She looked at
the Human and understood.

The large hybrid leaned down to the Prophet and spoke slow
and soft as was his normal thing.

“I would not try anything if I were you. The Colonel has
given permission for, shall we say, you to experience the fear of God!”

“sir, we found these hidden under the back seat in that
Limo. Looks like a record of the hybrids they captured and sold.” style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  The Major took the books and opened one. It
was all written in some form of code.
“Well it looks like we will have nearly a hundred to rescue.”
