honestly I would be OK with this reading of the events, though it isn't intended! I want the atmosphere to feel pretty dark/frightening, tho its just cuz she's private about her baby-raising. But she's a weird, quiet, ominous person, so it should feel like she's doing something worst than just being a mommy.
