I have been wanting to play with a new pokemon fursona (pokesona), I love my shinx but I wanted something a little more dangerous & capable.... I decided to go full Deviantart OC, be maximum indulgent & hog wild & be a shiny mew!!! No rules just right!!! The top row is playing with the earliest ideas, before I submit I just like giving everything my hairstyle & I have to admit that. I also change a lot about Mew's physiology... I'm not exactly bottom-heavy, so I wanted to toy with the shape while still hopefully keeping it recognizable as a mew. Her haunches are slim, and her hips narrow!

I really wanted to be something psychic or poison-type, but there are few pokemon in the venn diagram of 'feminine' while also 'animal-shaped' in those categories. Most ~feminine pokemon are really humanlike, which sucks!! I felt like a goofus when mew was the only thing that seemed appropriate with a shape I could vibe with, but then I realized the shiny form was blue, and couldnt resist...

I'll be embarrassed if I go into her whole story, but I did wind up developing one for her. She is aloof & has difficulty connecting to other pokemon; at least some of that is the nature of being a very rare/hidden thing, the other is she doesn't really understand other people or feel integrated into society. She feels she exists outside of it all, observing it. I wanted to explore a little why mew are so secretive, & what a naturally solitary Pokemon's mind might be like.

The Pikachu is my good friend Bird's pokesona! He has a sort of fairy inflection to his design! Contrasting her, he's very sweet & affectionate. Though they both are ostracized, he's lonely & she's more lonesome/solitary by design.
