The Lion King has and always will be my favorite movie, but I never really knew how much I'd relate to it, until my father, the closest person to my heart, passed away in 2009. That tragic day is forever burned into my mind, and I will always feel the sadness that he is gone, but I know he is finally at peace. That is what I wanted to portray. I decided to try to stay true to the Disney style.
