Tribute to Dana

Doctor-Axel

I wanted to draw my friend's character, Vysmuth. He is literally death, and I find him to be extremely fascinating, and as I went to sketch him I remembered I hadn't drawn Dana. She was one of our mice who we lost so horribly a couple weeks back, and she was such a sweet girl. So I drew death pushing her to heaven.

Vysmuth is typically black and grey, but I colored him like this for two reasons. One to experiment (because Bury pushes me to do so and I knew she wouldn't mind), and two because in my view death isn't ugly. It's beautiful and just as important as life. So I used a lot of green (the color of life). I did not use any black! And I did enjoy this little experiment drawing as well! c: I also like Vysmuth's cute little smile.

Rest in peace, Dana! Sweetheart, Intern, and Mayor!
