Khulak is a Mercenary, Soldier of Fortune, Monster Slayer, and Treasure Hunter originally from a Tribe of Gnolls in the Southern deserts of Rahadoum on the Continent of Garund on the Planet Golarion.
He's currently taking on odd jobs around Azir, the capitol city of Rahadoum, to finance an expedition he and several companions loosely associated with the Pathfinder Society are organizing.
While he is generally very self-serving and "flexible" in his loyalties and ethical concerns, he is unlike most other Gnolls in that he doesn't derive any pleasure from being cruel or unnecessarily mean to others. In fact, he's very much more interested in killing monsters and getting intoxicated than he is in petty cruelties. That's not to say that he won't torture or kill people at all, just that he needs a real incentive (read "monetary") for him to bother with such stuff.
