The first drawing I ever did with the new style. Since there is no pupil to move, the eyes have to stay in place and my composition/posing has to convey more movement to give the feeling of the eyes looking a certain direction.

Of course the other problem with 'rodent eyes' is they can be difficult to convey deep expressions with. There's no pupil variance so you lose fear or euphoria. You really end up depending on body language very intensely, and the less human-like a creature is, the harder it is to read them natively. Think of birds in that regard. You have to really spend time with them to read the subtle alien bird-emotions. They're there, but not everyone knows what they imply.
