Thanks, lots of Difference layers and fiddling. I was happy with the effect, though. I always love when magic is done in a way that it looks like it's unearthly/unnatural, rather than just glowy light.

Fantastic! I love the glow around her hand, it reminds me of bacteria under a microscope.

Awesome. I was thinking a kind of necrosis, so that fits very well; some kind of flesh-eating bacterium magic.
