Dryads bonded to deciduous trees sleep and hibernate through the winter, but Renwick has always found it difficult to stay asleep. He doesn't feel like moving much, his metabolism is just as suppressed either way, he just finds himself sitting awake, thinking through the winter months.

Usually Dryads stay inside their trees all winter, but Luz sits with Renwick to keep him company. He always goes to sleep, but Ren still appreciates it.
