Say hello to Marina & Miranda Malahide! While Chapter 1 of Heirs to the Throne is still a few pages away from coming to the close, in Chapter 2 we will be learning a little bit more about where Devillo has been spending the past few years, & where these two ladies feature in his life. As work progressed on the script for that chapter I began to realize that I had in fact been focusing on the wrong character to bounce off against Devillo, & the twins have a strong connection to that character. So in the re-write their scenes were mainly reshuffled for a later part of the story. But I was rather pleased with their designs & felt like sharing them.

Heirs to the Throne is a black comedy noir set in the fictional city of Kindling, featuring a host of anthropomorphic characters of various races, but focusing on the wealthy elite of Draconic families. The idea was in development for around 10 years, originally intended as an illustrated art book/murder mystery hybrid that evolved into our first full-length graphic novel.
