This cutie is Thomas O'Malley, a house guest with us in July 2013 while his mum was travelling.

He's originally from Maui, has a tattoo in his right ear, and a little stubby tail (as, I'm told, is common in Maui's feline population; I also suspect a bit of Manx in him based on his body shape). The little love-bug is also a diabetic, and we helped his mum learn how to take care of his special needs so he's happy and generally healthy.

He got along reasonably well with our kids, likes to nibble and nuzzle your ears if you give him a hug, is splendidly soft and pettable, and enjoys being generally underfoot. Almost didn't want to send him home...
