the original concept design for black-flame was for him to be a pegasus with less bodilly damage (notice no bandages or cuts just the removed cutiemark) but after a while my friend asked me "wouldn't pinkamena do more damage than just THAT?" and i had to agree, so i gave him more cuts and added bloodied bandages, i noticed after that his wings would be useless and i had watched bleach that same night so i wanted to give him something like a hollow side, thus the horn because it answered how he would use swords and get more powerfull without going into too much detail.

also this was the 30 min challange for today, it was about hooves so i had him trip while running away.
