Welcome to today's SOTD! I gave After Effects one last try by recording in 720p in .wmv instead of .avi, which it can't handle. This time the video works well but it's the audio it can't do so screw that piece of shit. I'm back to Movie Maker, downgrading 720p recordings to 480p so it actually works. When technology catches up I'll give it another try but till then, fuck everything.

Doesn't help that I'm still having audio issues, but I think the issue is that REAPER changed the way it handles audio drivers when it upgraded so I'll have to try hunting for new ones or upgrading ASIO and giving it another try. Why does everything technology-related sucks lately? It's like we've gone back.
