No... Low magic isn't fancy. No pretty robes, sparkly artifacts, or long involved chants. It's not particularly subtle, or efficient, or quiet. It's just raw power, sometimes focused through something to help aim it. But when you don't care how loud and messy things get... well, it gets the job done.
Now hold still. I want some scenery left to enjoy after I'm done.

OOPS. I thought I had replied to this! My bad. And thank you so much! I've tried to tone down how harsh my grayscale can be, though I do need to get back into being less afraid to go really dark at times. But I'm glad to hear you approve! Means I'm going in the right direction.
