June 15th, 1994- The Lion King premiered in theaters. Happy 20th, TLK!
This movie became an obsession for me when I was a kid... I dreamed of being a Disney animator so I could help create works of art like The Lion King. My life goals are different now, but I still attribute this film to giving me that first big push into art. I could gush all day long about what makes this movie so beautiful, but I'll just say thank you, Disney team, for creating The Lion King!

It was an obsession for me as well, used to sneak downstairs and watch it after parents were asleep, every night for two years straight, just quiet enough not to wake them. I dreamed of being a film composer so I could create music like Hans Zimmer, my goals are slightly different but it's also been my push <3
