So happy to finally be done with this! I don't think I've ever made so many revisions and redraws for a single piece.

SO, this is Nali, the APBT version of my fursona, Denali. Basically I wanted a character I could draw as more of a "person," or the true extension of self that a fursona typically is. For me, Denali herself didn't translate well as a humanoid, or a true "fursona" in the respect of being like me. She's a big, dumb, happy dog and I like her like that. So Nali has come to fill in as "me."

Nali's personality is less permanently upbeat and doggish and more like me; amiable but seemingly in a perpetual state of grump. She also has my hobbies, vices, and fashion sense (or lack thereof). She likes cooking and baking, is a light smoker, and is... an extremely dedicated stoner. Weed is love. She's also somewhat health conscious and rather enjoys exercising, particularly going on long runs. She's also quite strong for her size, as is typical with pit bulls.

Just to put it out there, this is not a complete fursona change, as Denali and Nali are in a way still the same character, just portrayed differently. Denali is more of an animal, or "feral," while Nali is much more human-like.
