I decided to draw my jackal character as like - a tribesman.

At around 2am (I was already in bed then decided I wanted to draw).
I had a lot of fun with the lighting and drawing his muscles. =) I can imagine him standing before some of the younger members of his tribe and telling them an epic of how one of their ancestors slew a great beast (heavily exaggerated, of course). And this is the point where he says, "And you know who his great-great-grandson is?"
Then he jabs himself in the chest proudly with his thumb.
