So some time ago I decided to assign a different bird to each of the main characters of Project Geneon. Ava’s bird is actually a Phoenix, but I wanted a bird that was grounded in reality as well. So I did some research on the origin of the mythical bird and found that the Golden Pheasant was likely the inspiration for it. So I went with it here. Phoenix also becomes her codename later on, and is sometimes shortened to Phen. 


This is the first in a series of illustrations of the main cast with their assigned bird. I probably won’t end up doing them all at once, but I have four more planed after this one and there will probably be more in the future.  Next up is Hector.
