Yeah, I'm definitely cut for making chiptunes. XD

This is something I made while watching an art stream of a friend of mine, darknesshaven. I totally blame the guy for reawakening my obsession with the 80's and inspiring me to fully understand the QuadraSID plugin. I'm very happy for that though, since I've always needed a break to try out new things. So thanks, dude! Have a song! ^.=.^

EDIT: I think I've come to realize the reason why I like chiptunes so much. Not only does it remind me of the 80's (despite never living then), but I like to draw a parallel between video game music back then and video games back then. Let's take the video games on the Atari 2600; You're sitting on your couch in the night, only lit by the light of the screen. You're controlling this... THING on the screen dropping little white blips down on the humble of evil on the bottom of the screen. Wait, did you just call that little white blip a bomb? You see, that's what it's like using your imagination. It's exactly what makes me feel awesome about playing these games like super mario and tetris as opposed to today's big name titles. Back then, half the magic was in your head, not in the graphics card.

And this logic can be transferred to music as well; Simple sounds and bleeps that you can easily call a "Rhodes" or a "Trumpet" depending on how the different sounds behave.
