Some more ecathi art from DA. My character is the cub on the left. This was done for a contest in which you had to draw your character meeting someone else's ecathi that he or she had never met before. It was alot of fun actually. I chose for my Zen to meet an ecathi named Cosa who belongs to Cobu96 on DA. Here is the snippet that goes with the pic:

"He called himself Cosa. He was a bit aloof for an ecathi, but with a bit of coaxing, Zen found that he wasn’t quite so bad. Zen knew he shouldn’t have wandered off, especially since he was on a diplomatic visit to the Frostid Pard with Akida, but this land was fresh and exciting; he wanted to explore. He found himself strangely immersed in Cosa’s stories of the land’s days and nights, winters and springs. Imagine, a land covered nearly year round in ice! Cosa told him of how the snow fell from the sky and piled high, and of the beautiful sight of it glittering in the moonlight like morning dew in the sun. He told him of the bitter cold that chilled to the bone, and commented that Zen’s thick coat would keep him quite snug in this climate. Zen felt drawn to this world, although he could not tell why. It was a place so foreign to the Fissure Plains, yet so familiar to his heart. He loved his home, his friends, and his adoptive mother, Akida, but yet he wished that he could stay with this strange ecathi and his wonderful stories, if only for moments longer."
