ALRIGHTY so I commissioned a species design from the lovely Ebillan the original image can be seen on her Tumblr art blog
• Hepotlic pronounced Hip-ot-lick.
• Height: 5- 8feet shoulder height Adult and 2-4 feet Baby.
• Weight: 1000-2000lbs Adult and 100-200lbs Baby.
• There are three different types of Hepotlics, number 1. being the normal and most common, 2. being a more athletic type and is the longest/tallest of the three (used as transportation or in races mainly), 3. being more strong and stocky build and is also the smallest of the three
• Completely covered in fur except for horns.
• Horns can be in a few different styles (from small antler like, ram, gazelle etc.)
• Male manes can range from a light grey to jet black and coloured tufts of fur in the mane can only be a light colour such as shown above, cannot be white.
• Female manes can not have the colours white-grey-black but can have any other colour whether light/bright/dark.
• All have a tuft of fur in their manes that is a different colour from the mane itself (Example. Grey mane in the image above has a tuft of pink) The tuft matches the colours on paws and tails.
• Main body colour is always white/light grey.
• Baby Hepotlics are born with mainly white bodies with spots all over. Males are born with light blue markings and females match the colour of their mothers tuft. Colours eventually change.
• Eyes are generally a dark yellow although uncommon it is possible to be a different colour.
• Blood is purpleish/blue.
• Species is fairly friendly towards humans unless the human is near the Hepotlics baby, if anyone the Hepotlic does not trust come near its baby it goes into rage mode.
• An amazing pet if raised at a young age.
• Mates are forever.
• Hepotlics typically have 1 baby, rarely 2.
• Communicate with eachother using roaring/clicking/ very deep growls
• Eats mainly meat and loves fruits
• Will take a whole branch or bush of fruit instead of just one fruit at a time (Doesn't like the leaves so will either remove them or eat the fruit around them)
• They can have multiple horns!!!
