Late on into writing the Signal from the Sky album, I was introduced to the infamously psychotic beak-em-up Hatoful Boyfriend. It's a sort of... pigeon dating simulator, but really the only thing that it simulates is your brain being flung down three flights of stairs - I would attempt to explain it here, but honestly, there's no point. One character captured my imagination in particular, and this bonus track came together very quickly, pieced together from his dialogue from the game. It takes a lot of musical inspiration from Rhapsody's catalogue (much like the character himself) - and even though it was written as a joke track, I think I may have accidentally made it the high point of the album.

I'll just say that as difficult as it might seem to believe, the game just keeps on gathering a snowball of madness as it rolls down the cliffs of insanity from the initial premise, and by the end it really does capture you in ways that you couldn't have imagined before you broke through its shell of unabashed bonkersness.
