Haida was heading to a costume party being hosted by Tadano himself, dressed as Papyrus from Undertale, the hyena was eager to show off his costume and the little changes he did, so he decided to cut through a pumpkin patch to save time. While going through the pumpkin patch, he soon came across a lone white pumpkin, his curiosity peaking, Haida approached the pumpkin when suddenly it began to emit a green mist that started entering the hyena's mind, his eyes pupils began glowing green and he heard a voice urge him to grab the pumpkin. The enticing influence proved too strong for Haida and the hyena grabbed the pumpkin, suddenly Hadia's body began to expand and turn orange becoming a pumpkin-hyena hybrid, the sudden growth ripped off much of the his costume, leaving only his gloves, boots, and briefs, however the change wasn't finished. Green mist began to surround Haida's attire and began to alter it, with the belt becoming green held by a pumpkin shaped buckle, finally a face appeared on the pumpkin turning it into a jack o'lantern and when Haida was about to place it on his head, a crown was formed and when it was put in place, finishing the change. With the transformation complete, Haida's eyes were now entirely green and he used his new found powers to create himself a new cape and a scepter with a crescent moon head, declaring himself the pumpkin king with his first quest is to create a kingdom for himself and subjects to rule over, remembering the party, he decided all the guests there, including the host Tadano himself, would make great additions to his kingdom, and continues onward to the party, to fulfill this new mission, to bring the spirit Halloween to everyone.
