This photomanipulation/digital painting has taken a lot of my time for two reasons. First, my personal life has taken a different toll on things which also gave me no motivation to paint but slowly I'm getting a grip of myself and moving forward. The second part, is that the goal of this piece was more focused on the digital painting of the background rather than the manipulation and to build a suitable background from scratch that blends well with the main figure.

I came across an interesting photo on my Tumblr dash feed and it was this amazing cosplay outfit. The build from the photos and quality looks phenomenal! But the original photos didn't do justice so I figured I would transform it but this time I'll be relying on more of the digital painting for the background than the manipulation. And here it is!
