Darkwitt and Visia strolled through the mall, Without his hologram present, most people paid no attention to the two of them as they went about their day. Visia never left his side, but she kept her gaze averted. Darkwitt looked down at her as she held to his side.

"What's wrong, Visia?"

"mmmh..." 

"Are you feeling like there's too many people here?" Darkwitt offered. Visia shook her head.

"No just... I dunno." Visia folded her arms. 

"Sooner or later you're going to have to loosen up. I don't always get breaks like this, so maybe relax a little. No one knows who we are, no one's coming to attack me, and you are off duty right now. So come on, isn't there a store here that might be to the liking of a pretty bird like you?" He smiled kindly. But Visia frowned immediately.

"Shut up..." She muttered under her breath.

"What was that? Still feeling like a stick in the mud?" He jokingly pressed a hand to his ear as if he didn't hear what she said. 

"Well I know just the thing." Darkwitt raised his hand, pressing his index to his thumb.

Visia immediately perked up and waved her hands disarmingly in a panic.

"WAIT WAIT WAI-"

Snap

Like Magic Visia's pupils faded into a glaze, beak open and head filling with bubbles. 

"Oh Em Geeeeee~" 

"There we go. Hey look, pretty bird, shoes. any look to be your style?"

Visia practically skipped over to the window and pressed her glazed expression against the glass like a kid before christmas.

"Ooooooh those red ones look so good! May I try them, Master?!" 

Darkwitt blushed a little and ran a finger through his hair, hoping no one heard that.

"Visia, don't- we don't use the M word in public." 

"Oh gosh! Sorry! Can I try them, Master?" 

"Just- come on."  Darkwitt pushed Visia into the store to get her to try on the shoes.

"Yayyy  shopping~ <3"

Visia came to visit me over the summer for a well needed vacation. Despite getting covid for half of it, It was a great time. At one point we ended up in a mall, and while this image was worked on before we ran into each other, this wasn't too far off from our experience at the mall. I was even in the suit.
