REASON FOR RETIREMENT: Concluded that belief should not be regulated. Left of own accord, replacement required due to massive rise in aggressive cult presence.
HISTORY: Vincent was one of the founding members of the Facilitators at the near turn of the century. As a young priest, he was confronted by a child during a confessional who demanded an explanation for why his friends who did not follow his faith were doomed to damnation. Vincent could not justify the standard answer of his faith, and began researching dozens of other religions around the world. He concluded that all faiths and beliefs are but many paths to God, and began working with the church to find a harmony with other faiths.  He joined the Facilitators to help bring the planet closer to a unity that would be worthy of God’s image.  As religions around the world grew weaker and less critical to society, he  became conflicted. The various religions started to become stricter and stricter under his  desperate attempt to keep tradition alive, until he started to see the prevalence of  televangelists working on hope and faith like, quote “a parasite latched to the underbelly  of the soul” In his old age, he’s grown to feel that Dogma should be dismantled. That faith and  love of God cannot be an institution. He has fallen off the grid, and the Qualm has been unable to find him. Perantia’s position is one that desperately needs filling. The rise of aggressive cults is a worrying trend.

Perantia retired long before I even joined the Facilitators. Qualm suggested that he could bring back the old man from his 'crisis of faith' but why? The man is pushing a century and seems done with the Facilitators based on what I'm reading in his documents. If I find him, I'll need to ask why he thought his position needed to be dissolved. Hopefully I can get him to help me find a replacement.
