And on the Eighth Day, Canid said, "Let there be awesomeness, so that I may look at a piece and go 'wow'. And let there be fire. And guns. And starry backgrounds. For all those things beget awesome."

And it was done.

This piece came from something that happened whilst I was playing Borderlands. I'd just executed this close-up, sniper no-scope, and stepped through the flames towards someone else. Immediately I thought, 'Someone should draw that.' Then, a few seconds later, 'Wait. I'm an artist. I should draw that.' And so it came to pass, creating probably my favourite piece yet.
