What a beautiful piece we have here! I do really like this. I do agree with you, that is a very good looking tail. The design is very pleasing to the eye and it's curved to perfection. I'm also a very big fan of the pose you have given your star friend here. Your friend's character looks proud and inspiring with the angle you are showcasing. The background is also very active and gives the viewer even more to enjoy. The mane also looks very nice. There is one thing though that throws me slightly off. The strands of the mane that is flowing in the wind. They look a shade off. The ones up toward his head look fine. As you go down though, they start make independent shape and it throws me off. Perhaps this was perpetual design choice on your part. It is however a bit weird to my eyes. Overall, I love this, you've captured beauty in not just the star, but with everything else as well.
