Dante Blocks by DarkSpectrum

Dante Blocks

Look, it's something that I'm actually proud of. I got the pose from Posemaniacs and decided to put my character Dante Mandrake in the pose. This is supposed to be a part of that one drawing assignment I made for myself. No, the tail is there, it's just obscured from view as he is supposed to be in the process of blocking an attack that is supposed to blow him back. I stretched it out in SAI and edited out the dark marks form my erased pencil lines. It was a struggle but it came out all right in the end. I had a lot of trouble with the leg to his right. This took about 2 hours or so in total but over a span of two days.

What I like about this most is the hair. Also nice pose! Oh and posemanicas is an awesome site! I use it a lot.

Hey, thanks! I think that I'm pretty confident with hair because I like my line style. I like to draw with only a pencil and vary the line pressure to get it to look the way I want. Also, yep, it certainly is. I've been using it more often again because I was working on making my figures more three-dimensional because they were looking flat without the new polygonal guidelines I've been adapting to. :)
