I drew Ecco again and colored him the same way as his Defender of the Future self (I wasn’t sure how else to color him, and I also drew Trellia the Skyfin from Tides of Time (even though I’ve only played DOTF). I wasn’t sure how I should color Trellia so I got experimental. Also, um, yeah, I suppose her fins do look weird, but I was inspired by some concept art of her that I saw on the Ecco wiki (at least the dorsal fin and flippers, I made up the spikes on the tail flukes). Ahaha, I thought Trellia would be easier to draw than some of the DOTF dolphins I wanted to draw, but I think I was wrong… Ah well…

Anyway, Trellia is probably teleporting Ecco to however far in the future she took him to. Apparently she’s one of Ecco’s descendants but it’s unknown how far in the future she’s from exactly. Also, although she’s from the “good” future, she and the contemporary Asterite know about the other timelines (maybe because Trellia and possibly other Skyfin dolphins can time travel at will, and the Asterite is… well… the Aterite). Ahaha, I love the awesome, intriguing trippiness of the Ecco series…

Also, incidentally, I plan to draw more Ecco fan art… mainly for Defender of the Future… sometime in the future…
