Here's some anatomy/shading/detail/light/whatever practice.
The result looks a little like post-apocalyptic Assassin's Creed.

In my opinion you can divide the mankind in the ones that like swords and the ones that like knives. And then there are the ones that like throwing knives ... Look at that picture and make an educated guess which group I belong to :P
If you're a knife nerd like me: Those two are Walther ATKs. Own a pair of them myself ^_^
