There was something calm and soothing about being in the water, especially warm water. It felt like it rejuvenated her scales and energized her body and senses. Perhaps it was the reptilian nature of her blood that gave her such peace when submerged. Given her ability to hold her breath for an hour or more, Ari would dive under the water and look up at the world passing her by above its surface and wonder what it was like to sink into oblivion and not have a care.
