Who is Marle Talbender? She is the daughter of a wealthy family who shunned her for being born a runt. Abandoning her in an orphange for her younger sister, she was a prime target for the Arbiter and was submitted to his experiments. She came out with a power to breathe life into inanimate objects that she now creates for herself. On the run and living the life of a recluse, she struggles to maintain a semblance of what she once was. Her own sense of self is lost and she seeks solace in the wilderness among the dolls she calls friends. She remains there unknowing of the fate that has placed her in the path of Taylor Renee when she needs her most.
