I don't usually do this. I don't usually make friends with folks who find me through my works...my creations. If I didn't come seeking you out and become friends prior to you knowing who I am or what I've done, then as a professional protocol, I tend to keep my distance from fans of my work. It's nothing personal. It's just a precaution to separate my personal life from my professional one so I can better focus on my work and my friends and not muddy the two together. Not sure if that made much sense, but that's how I like to do things.

Regardless, GreyShores was an artist I had heard of for a long while. Didn't really reach out to them since I was nowhere in their league in both notability and price range. So I just admired their work from afar. Imagine my surprise when they showed up one day to comment how much they loved Taylor Renee (and later on, Murana) and I was utterly humbled and giddy with...a guess you could say, a sense of starstuck. A popular furry/artist is talking to me? What!??!

So we began talking about Taylor and Ahya because they were interested in them. I was more than happy to explain and show off my ideas and works. Then somehow, the conversation moved to other topics. Before we knew it, we were chatting almost daily, which as GreyShores can attest, is unusual for them too! They're a bit introvert and they don't normally hit it off with others as often. Somehow, our friendship just clicked and we've been chatting about whatever near daily. It was just a peculiar thing to develop, but I'm glad it did. I am greatly enjoying my time getting to know GreyShores, the person.

Which leads me to their OC darling, Kyra. A spliced, genetically created hermaphrodite kangaroo. Now, I won't lie, her gallery is filled to the brim of sexual and very titillating pictures. However, through our talks, GreyShores had mentioned that they wished they had a bit more SFW pieces of her to show off other aspects of Kyra's personality. So I knew immediately what to do then. Getting in touch with one of my favorite lockscreen artists, I put together this commission showing off Kyra's soft side and presented it as a surprise gift to GreyShores. Least to say, they were extremely thrilled and adored it. I love making my friends happy and this definitely brought a smile to my face. Thanks again to Greyshores for taking the first step I could not and reaching out to me, and thanks as well for being just a cool person to talk to.
