Taylor only had a limited amount of time in her life where she was with her mother, Murana. Then Ahya happened. Her first kill happened. Her life went through upheaval like she had never known. Hunkering down from place to place, being homeschooled consistently, and not being let out much unless under the close supervision of her mother. The years went by and Murana grew haggard and weary with age, stress and cancerous degradation.

As Taylor grew up, she had begun to hate this prison of living in secret. She resented her mother for what her life had become. Gone were the carefree days of youth that she so enjoyed. So, Taylor ran away. She reveled in the pleasures of the city and sunk into a metal band and grew to know fame. However, this fame was not to last and it drew the eyes of those who were seeking her back onto her.

After narrowly escaping a violent abduction from her captors, she was on the run. For how many years, she lost count. At long last, she returned home to the city of her birth, only realizing now just how much her mother sacrificed on her behalf, even at the cost of her own health. Coming home, her mother was nowhere to be found. Only in her dreams now could Taylor visit her mother, spend days together and reclaim that lost time. Taylor wanted ever so much to thank Murana for all that she had done for her when she was too young and blind to see it.

Everyone with mothers still, tell them how much you love them. Do not take them for granted.
